Marvel Boy

These are two design ideas for what a Marvel Boy could look like.

Hunter

This is the Hunter, a male version of the famous bird of prey. I had a lot of fun doing this one based on a very old uniform of Helena by the time she was still Earth-2 Batman's daughter.

Raio

This is a cartoonish version on Raio, first char I remember to have come up with when I was 5 or 6. Of course it had a few changes throughout the years, as the name that was originally Raioman :-) and the cape that disappeared. This outfit has been there for a good decade though I guess.

I'm very fond of this guy for being out there for so long and I'm trying hard to come up with something more complete for him, like a short story. Let's see if it happens.

Starfire II

And here is a bigger version of Starfire, still uncolored.

Starfire mini: are we keeping the purple?

I had a very hard time to sleep yesterday night. So at some point, tired of trying too hard, I just grabbed my sketchbook and came out with this design for Starfire.

I haven't figured out yet which colors I'm using, but I thought it was worth and fun running some tests. So I invite you guys to give any suggestions of colors for the outfit. Would you keep the purple? Which other combinations would look good in your opinion?

Stormlad

This guy is Stormlad, one of my first toons in City of Heroes.

If you know the game you'll understand what I'm saying now: he's a science defender in the Victory server. His powers are obviously storm related, with the storm summoning on primary and the electrical set on the secondary powers. If you don't know the game, well... he can invoke lightning, wind, fog, rain and wet-cold-shocking things like these.

I chose this toon basically cause he's pretty simple and - again - I'm working on practicing with the editing tools. Oh, and this one has *real* vectors (yay).

Last but not least, I have to tell you guys something: In my next life I wanna have more patience for drawing backgrounds... I'll try to work on it in the next few days, but don't be surprise if it never happen. :-)

Plastic Man reloaded

And talking about sportish looking outfits, here it comes my first contribution: a modernized pumped up Plastic Man. I made the first version a couple months ago, but had a few changes for this electronic version. I actually was more interested in trying the new scanner and practicing with photoshop. Still have a lot to work on, I know, but I think it's ok for a first-shot-after-a-long-time pic.

I was going to post only the outlined version but I kindda like the other one. Sorry for the uneven lines, but till I get Illu$trator, I'm not using any vectors...
